The Hogwarts Legacy Game by Portkey Games has generated a lot of buzz since 2020. The open-world RPG game set in the Wizarding World was supposed to release in 2021. But, this got delayed to 2022 and later to 2023. In March this year, Portkey Games and Avalanche Studios unveiled the trailer for this much-awaited game. The trailer depicted an intricate storyline set against the nostalgic backdrop of Hogwarts and the places surrounding the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. When is Hogwarts Legacy Releasing?

Hogwarts Legacy will come out on February 10, 2023, for all platforms, including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. What are the Hogwarts Legacy Editions: Standard, Deluxe, and Collectors?

The special editions of Hogwarts Legacy come with a few added perks, both in-game and IRL, for fans. Here’s everything you need to know.

Hogwarts Legacy Standard Edition

The Standard Edition is the most economical of the three. For the latest platforms, the game costs $69.99, and for the previous generations, it costs $59.99. You can buy the game at GameStop, Walmart, and Best Buy. However, only Best Buy would come with a $10 gift card, which means you’ll save that money while getting early access to the game.

Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition

The Deluxe Edition comprises a few in-game features which the Potterheads would enjoy exploring. These include an additional quest and a Dark Arts Pack. The Dark Arts Pack consists of Thestral Mounts, Dark Arts Cosmetic Set, Dark Arts Garrison Hat, and a Dark Arts Battle Arena. This edition is available on GameStop and Best Buy for $79.99, with the latter offering a $10 gift card. Purchasing this edition would be the only way to hop onto the Thestrals and explore the School of Hogwarts and the places around from a different perspective.

Hogwarts Legacy Collector’s Edition

The Collector’s Edition has all the features of the Deluxe Edition and more. In addition, it comes with an in-game Kelpie robe that your character can wear. The game will also come with a life-size collectable in the form of a book and a magic wand. The book will showcase the map of Hogwarts, Hogsmeade Village, the Black Lake, and a few other places from the world. The book can be connected to a power source, and one can place the wand above it, so it levitates. All this would cost you $289.99 or $299.99 based on the platform you purchase the game for. This edition, too, can be bought at GameStop and Best Buy.
