The most recent announcement from the game franchise confirmed that Respawn Entertainment is working on a new game in the Star Wars Jedi Series. Per the disclosure, this phase will mark the “final chapter” of the Cal Kestis saga.
EA’s president of entertainment and technology, Laura Miele, revealed during a recent Investor Day presentation that Respawn is hard at work on this final chapter while describing it as a "super exciting conclusion" to the saga that started with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and its sequel Jedi: Survivor.

EA’s announcement comes one week after it released Update 9 for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (for PC). The new update addressed much of the game’s performance glitches on PC. The series has garnered over 40 million players across its first two games. EA, however, would want its next series game to provide a grander end to its series and further extend its legacy in the Star Wars gaming universe – hopefully garnering more players.
