The Southeast Asia (SEA) region continues to headline the roster shuffle season as Carlo “Kuku” Palad recently released a post where he was wearing a Blacklist International jersey. Kuku was recently released from T1, after his contract expired following a disappointing Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) season with his former team. The team was not able to qualify for The International 2022 (TI11) crashing out in the Last Chance Qualifiers.
Following his recent stint with T1, rumors indicate that Kuku’s next destination would be Blacklist International. The organization recently announced that it has acquired RSG’s spot in the upcoming regional DPC season and is currently assembling a Dota 2 roster.
At first, many believed that Kuku was simply trolling as his nickname in the post is a reference to Blacklist International’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang captain Jonmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna. However, other speculate that Kuku is possibly teasing his newest team as he is rumored to be joining the Filipino organization with the following roster:-
Marc “Raven” Fausto
Karl “Karl” Baldovino
Kuku “Kuku” Palad
Timothy “Tims” Randrup
Nico “eyyou” Barcelon
As of now, it is yet to be determined if Kuku is actually joining Blacklist International. However, Blacklist International will be announcing its newest Dota 2 roster tomorrow, according to Blacklist International co-founder Alodia Gosiengfiao.
Blacklist International recently made its entry into the Dota 2 competitive scene after acquiring RSG’s spot in the first division of the regional DPC league for the 2022/2023 season. Additionally, Blacklist International CEO Tryke “TryQ” Gutierrez stated that his dream was to create an all-Filipino redemption team.
