If you're a Genshin Impact fan who loves the game's music, you'll want to hear this. Soon, you'll be able to play your favorite tunes whenever you want.
Thanks to the game's next big update, we're getting a cool new feature called the Genshin Impact Repertoire of Myriad Melodies, and it's here to stay. Starting January 1, 2025, you can jump into this new music mode and get creative with the soundtrack.
Playing Through Teyvat's Greatest Hits
The new Genshin Impact music feature will be a handy gadget you can pull out anywhere in the game. It has 56 different tracks, including both the background music you hear while exploring and those catchy tunes from character trailers.
Each region gets its own music collection in the mix. Mondstadt tops the list with 12 tracks, while Fontaine, Sumeru, Inazuma, and Liyue each bring 11 of their best tunes to the table. Not to worry, Natlan fans. While your region doesn't have any tracks just yet, the team behind Genshin Impact has promised to add them in future updates.
Mix, Share, and Rock Out
One great part of the update is that you're not just listening to these songs, but you can actually play them yourself. A new feature called the Hall of Creation will let players try to perform everything from "Dance of Aphros" to "Caprice of the Leaves." You can even put your own spin on a track by editing and customizing the music. And when you're proud of what you've created, you can share it with other players through the Score Exchange.
To get started with this new game mode in Genshin Impact, head to the tavern in Mondstadt when Version 5.3 drops. Note that this isn't just another temporary event like we've seen before. Just like the card game they added (Genius Invokation TCG), this music system will remain.
Wrapping Up
Who else is excited for Genshin Impact Version 5.3? A lot is on its way. There's the big finale of Natlan's story, the return of the Lantern Rite festival, and three brand-new characters joining the roster. With a music feature finally before us, things are looking really bright.
Players have been asking for something like this for a long time. Those music-themed events were always a hit, but they never stuck around long enough. Now, with the Repertoire of Myriad Melodies, you can collect tunes from across Teyvat or create your own interesting compositions.
